The Mother Octopus is Katey DiStefano, a northern NY girl living on Long Island, mother of two, freelance writer/meme maker/content creator and octopus lover. This blog is my attempt to put some action back into my passion for writing.
After my career in publishing ended, I started an Etsy shop, a creative opportunity that allowed me to be a work-from-home mom and gave me more time with my daughter and son. Eight years later, I’m a freelance writer, meme maker, influencer and content creator.
